COPS have made an arrest after an Irishman was been killed in a hit-and-run in London.
The collision occurred at Northumberland Park in Haringey, North London, at 12.30am on Sunday.
Emergency companies rushed to the scene however the man was later pronounced useless.
In a press release, police mentioned: “Regardless of the efforts of emergency companies, the pedestrian – a 62-year-old man – was pronounced useless on the scene.
“The motive force of the van didn’t cease on the scene.
“Following a police investigation, the van was discovered a brief distance away.”
A person, aged in his 30s, is being quizzed as a part of the probe and stays in custody.
