A 40-year-old Washington state man faces extradition to Alaska on fees accusing him of engaging a youngster from Bethel to take part in pornographic pictures.
A Bethel grand jury on Monday indicted Brian Kevin Powell, of Spokane, on 4 counts of on-line enticement of a minor and 4 counts of possession of kid pornography. The indictment references a number of pictures that resulted from the net contact.
Alaska State Troopers investigators, working with Homeland Safety Investigations and the Spokane Police Division, arrested Powell on Thursday, in response to the Alaska Division of Legislation.
He remained in custody in Spokane pending extradition proceedings as of Friday.
A spokesman for the Division of Legislation mentioned the company doesn’t “sometimes” reply to inquiries relating to energetic instances.
