ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. (WBTV) – Deputies in Rowan County have arrested a person after a home violence incident that occurred on Tuesday.
Based on the report, deputies responded to a name for assist in the 2000 block of Outdated Union Church Highway. A 911 telecommunicator reported listening to what appeared like gunshots within the background of the decision.
When deputies arrived they spoke to Luke Alexander Morgan, 32, and a girl on the residence. There had been a disagreement that led to a bodily alteration, deputies mentioned. Shells casings had been discovered, however nobody was reported to have been shot.
Morgan was charged with assault by strangulation, assault by pointing a gun, assault with a lethal weapon, assault with a lethal weapon with the intent to kill or inflict severe damage, and assault on a feminine.
Morgan is being held with out bond and is ready for a primary look in courtroom on Thursday.
