An investigation is underway after a Ventura County sheriff’s deputy fired on a car in Thousand Oaks early Saturday morning.
It occurred round 5:05 a.m. on the 3000 block of Rollings Avenue, in keeping with the Ventura County Sheriff’s Workplace.
Deputies initially responded to the world for a report of a catalytic converter theft.
The capturing occurred following a short pursuit of a darkish grey 4-door Nissan Sentra, the Sheriff’s Division mentioned. The driving force of the car allegedly drove within the course of a deputy, which led to the pictures being fired.
The deputy was unhurt and the suspect drove off and remains to be excellent. It’s unclear right now if the suspect was injured within the capturing.
