LONDON, March 15 (Reuters) – New British laws which got here into impact in a single day will enable the federal government to hurry up its efforts to root out Russian “soiled cash” parked in British property, finance minister Rishi Sunak stated on Tuesday.
“Our Financial Crime Act will allow us to crack down more durable and sooner on soiled cash and those that help Putin and his regime,” Sunak stated in an announcement. The laws obtained remaining approval within the early hours of Tuesday morning.
