EDINBURG, Texas – Rio Grande Valley Sector Border Patrol (RGV) brokers arrested 136 migrants unlawfully current in the US in 4 separate occasions throughout the Rio Grande Valley.
On March 7, Fort Brown Border Patrol Station brokers noticed a bunch of 86 migrants strolling north from the Rio Grande in Brownsville, Texas. The group included 31 members of the family and 55 single adults. The vast majority of the migrants, 75, are from Nicaragua, and the remainder are from different Central American nations and Colombia.
Hours earlier, the Rio Grande Metropolis Police Division (RGC PD) acquired info concerning two flats in Rio Grande Metropolis, Texas, getting used to harbor migrants. RGV brokers alongside RGC PD officers approached each flats and found a complete of 12 migrants and one caretaker. Brokers decided the migrants are nationals from Mexico, Honduras, and Peru illegally current in the US. All migrants have been arrested by Border Patrol brokers and the caretaker, a Mexican nationwide, was turned over to RGC PD.
That very same day, RGV brokers together with Hidalgo County Constable Precinct 1, found 5 undocumented migrants being harbored inside a Weslaco, Texas, residence. The migrants have been recognized as residents from El Salvador and Mexico illegally current in the US.
On March 8, RGV brokers acquired info of a residence in Sullivan Metropolis, Texas, attainable harboring migrants. Brokers responded to the placement and encountered 33 migrants unlawfully current in the US and transported them to a Border Patrol station. No caretaker was recognized.
