A Grand Traverse County man suspected of a number of intercourse crimes, together with rape, was discovered lifeless in a Gratiot County residence Wednesday afternoon.
The person, whose identification was withheld, was tracked by members of the Michigan State Police’s Seventh District fugitive crew to a house in Riverdale.
Group members noticed the person flee the home into the yard, based on a press launch from the Michigan State Police. The person ran again into the home after seeing the police presence and barricaded himself inside.
Members of the fugitive crew obtained a warrant, entered the house and located the person lifeless by obvious suicide, based on the press launch.
