Pleasanton officers fatally shoot home violence suspect after standoff, police say

PLEASANTON, Calif. (KGO) — An investigation is underway after police say two Pleasanton officers fatally shot a home violence suspect after an hours-long standoff.

In keeping with police, the capturing occurred simply after 3:30 p.m. at an house advanced close to Owens Drive and Willow Street.

Earlier within the day, police obtained a name from an individual saying they had been a sufferer of home violence. When officers arrived on scene they had been in a position to find the suspect who refused to depart the house.

Police say after a number of hours the person walked out of the constructing holding a knife and that is when officers open fireplace.
