MONTGOMERY — Governor Kay Ivey on Thursday introduced that 18 nonprofit businesses can be allotted funds from the state’s Home Violence Belief Fund to help victims of home violence.
The belief fund was created by the Alabama Legislature in 2015 to assist the businesses present shelter and different providers to home violence victims and their households. The funds are derived from a charge on marriage licenses.

The Home of Ruth (Dothan) – Barbour, Bullock, Espresso, Covington, Dale, Geneva, Henry, Houston and Pike counties.
AshaKiran (Huntsville) – Providers are supplied statewide to culturally numerous communities and people who are international born and have restricted English talking expertise.
