FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — On January 19, the day of the deadline for post-trial motions after Josh Duggar’s conviction on two little one pornography prices, his protection workforce filed paperwork with the courtroom requesting a judgment of acquittal or a brand new trial.
The movement, signed by lead protection lawyer Justin Gelfand, is over 75 pages lengthy, together with supporting paperwork. The protection asks for an acquittal pursuant to Federal Rule of Felony Process 29(c), in addition to alternatively asking for a brand new trial if that first movement is declined.
