The case in opposition to a Sterling man charged with assaulting his spouse final July after which allegedly killing her in September was continued, delaying his return in courtroom till April 20, a courtroom clerk instructed the Occasions-Mirror on Tuesday.
An analysis was ordered for the defendant, Peter J. Lollobrigido, 49, of Sterling, based on the courtroom clerk. The clerk didn’t specify the character of the analysis.
A preliminary listening to had been scheduled for Jan. 19 within the Loudoun County Juvenile, Home and Relations Courtroom.
On Oct. 29, Lollobrigido was arraigned on three prices, together with violation of a protecting order, assault, and an amended cost of first-degree homicide.
Regina Redman-Lollobrigido, Lollobrigido’s 44-year-old estranged spouse, died of her accidents every week after the alleged assault, based on the Loudoun County Sheriff’s workplace.
Peter Lollobrigido has been held at Central State Hospital in Petersburg since he was arrested on Sept. 20.
