Workplace on Violence Towards Girls Pronounces Awards to 11 Indian Tribal Governments to Train Particular Home Violence Legal Jurisdiction | OPA

OVW’s Tribal Jurisdiction Program was approved underneath VAWA 2013 and helps tribes with jurisdiction over Indian nation in exercising SDVCJ. Tribal Jurisdiction Program funds could also be used to strengthen tribal legal justice techniques, present indigent legal protection, conduct jury trials and supply companies and relevant rights to crime victims.
