At present, I function the chief working officer of the Metropolis of Hartford, the place I lead our work with justice-involved youth and adults, in addition to victims of violent crime. As a part of these efforts, I companion with state businesses, together with the Division of Kids and Households, the Division of Corrections, the judicial department, in addition to our police division, faculties, hospitals, and social service suppliers. I’ve frolicked with repeat juvenile offenders. I’ve visited with them in jail. I’ve helped their moms increase funds for his or her funerals.
