Santa Maria Police responded to a house disturbance Thursday afternoon.
The incident started at round 5 p.m. on Eliza Drive close to Bethel Road.
In response to police, they obtained a name from a lady whose ex-boyfriend broke into her residence.
Police say the 34-year-old man had a number of warrants out for his arrest for previous home violence incidents.
When police arrived they are saying the person surrendered himself with out incident and is in custody.
Nobody was injured on this incident. Police arrested the person for housebreaking and on home violence warrants.
