Gandhinagar: In an actual fast-track verdict, a Gandhinagar courtroom on Wednesday sentenced a 26-year-old serial rapist and assassin of toddler ladies to life imprisonment unto loss of life in 24 days flat of the final crime on November 5 night.
Extra District Decide SN Solanki gave his verdict within the rape and homicide case of a 7-year-old lady in Santej village within the Gandhinagar district.
The incident occurred on November 5 night when a labourer Vijay Thakor kidnapped the lady sleeping along with her household. He then raped and murdered her at a secluded place.
It took three days for the native police to arrest him on November 8. A cost sheet was filed on November 15 and after 13 days of listening to, the decision was pronounced on December 1.
The accused was arrested for allegedly raping three minor ladies, aged between three and 7 years, and killing one among them inside ten days, officers stated.
Thakor is married with a daughter and investigating law enforcement officials stated he had a perverted mentality, possibly attributable to his behavior of watching porn and even confessed to having raped three minor ladies aged 3, 5, and seven years and killing one among them. He was remanded in police custody until November 11.
