BAY COUNTY, Fla. (WMBB) — A St. Andrews man is useless after allegedly stabbing his ex-wife.
Neighbors stated that they had been looking for the sufferer since she moved in.
Anytime the Dagens noticed a white truck at their neighbor’s home, they stated they went on excessive alert.
Their neighbor had warned them about potential bother.
“She had stated that that they had gotten a divorce and that if we noticed the white truck over there, she type of felt antsy about him coming over on a regular basis, and I suppose he lives on Cincinnati simply a few blocks away,” Elizabeth Dagen stated.
Round 5:00 p.m. on Monday, Dagen stated they noticed the white truck parked at 1706 Billings Avenue.
“We heard her screaming and I type of peaked out of the blind and I noticed her arising on the porch and he or she was holding her neck and he or she was screaming, ‘he’s making an attempt to kill me, he’s making an attempt to kill me,’” Dagen stated.
Dagen stated her neighbor instructed her the person had a gun. She additionally stated the lady had stab wounds on her throat and chest. Her hand was apparently slashed throughout a battle for the knife.
Paramedics took the lady to the hospital. The person, reportedly her ex-husband, fled to his residence.
Police tried to get him to give up for greater than two hours, then determined to go in.
“We have been in a position to breach, or make an entry level into the home, and members of our SWAT group entered the residence and found the person who we have been searching for deceased inside the home from a self-inflicted gunshot wound,” Police Chief Mark Smith stated.
That is being thought of a home violence case. The investigation remains to be ongoing, and police haven’t launched the names of these concerned.
As of 8 p.m. on Monday, the sufferer was being handled within the hospital.
