HOWELL COUNTY, Mo. – The Howell County Sheriff launched a press release on Friday, November 26 relating to allegations in opposition to a Howell County Sheriff’s Workplace worker.
On November 24, allegations of sexually-inappropriate habits have been reported to the sheriff’s workplace.
The allegations have been forwarded to the Missouri Division of Social Companies and an investigation was performed.
Because of the investigation’s findings, the Sheriff’s Workplace worker was arrested by the Missouri State Freeway Patrol and charged.
Sheriff Brent Campbell then addressed the Howell County group in his assertion.
“As with all issues that erode the integrity and effectivity of your Workplace of Sheriff, I wish to reinforce to the group that an inside investigation shall be administered in an effort to uncover any potential factors of failure so as mitigate such issues. Lastly, as your Sheriff, I’ve been bestowed the best honor, which is to Lead within the service and safety of our group with integrity and transparency that may proceed a solid belief.”
The West Plains Faculty District later launched a press release relating to the incident.
“On Thursday, November 25, 2021, West Plains Faculty District directors obtained a report that the South Fork Elementary faculty useful resource officer, contracted via the Howell County Sheriff’s Workplace, had alleged inappropriate conduct with a pupil. This incident allegedly occurred not too long ago, exterior the workday, and didn’t contain a South Fork pupil,” writes Dr. Lori Wilson, superintendent of West Plains Faculty District.
The assertion went on to precise the district’s dedication to college students’ training and says they’re working with native regulation enforcement to analyze the incident.
Dr. Wilson expressed that the district’s prime precedence is the most effective curiosity of its college students.
