Inexperienced, 74, was sheriff in 1989 and 1990, when he was appointed by the county board to fill the emptiness created by the departure of former sheriff Gordon Powell.
He labored for the sheriff’s division for 20 years, retiring in 1990. After his retirement, Inexperienced labored as head of safety on the Quad-Metropolis Worldwide Airport in Moline for 10 years. In 2000, he left the airport and went to work for the U.S. Marshals Service on the federal courthouse in Rock Island.
After his most cancers analysis in 2008, Inexperienced retired.
