Operation Fairly Issues volunteers fill present luggage for home violence victims


WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – Volunteers with the non-profit group Operation Fairly Issues have been placing collectively present luggage for girls Thursday.

The present luggage will probably be distributed to victims of home violence in shelters throughout North Carolina, New York, Florida, and Georgia to assist unfold some vacation cheer.

Government Director Missy Bennett says the group is now placing collectively vacation luggage, which embrace a notice of encouragement.

“I do know it’s small however our little presents are only a tiny little extension of affection, a reminder that there’s all the time hope and that little little bit of hope goes a very great distance,” stated Bennett.

She hopes they may give out 1,000 present luggage by the top of the yr.
