A small group of supporters gathered Friday night for a “celebration of consciousness” because the group closed October as Home Violence Consciousness Month.
Patty Gonzales, a counselor and advocate with Girls and Youngsters’s Horizons, was amongst these attending the occasion, held on the group’s administration constructing.
“It’s for survivors and all the pieces that they’ve been by means of, good and unhealthy,” she stated.
The candlelight vigil, held to honor and keep in mind victims and survivors of home violence, was meant to spherical off the month’s actions after a very lethal 12 months for Kenosha.
