MCEWEN, TN (WSMV) – A person needed for hurting a Perry County Sheriff’s Division investigator has barricaded himself inside a house in McEwen on Sunday night, Humphreys County Sheriff confirmed to Information 4.
Humphreys County Sheriff Chris Davis mentioned they obtained info that Hayden Chappell was in a house at 6200 block of Previous Nashville Freeway in McEwen.
Authorities have been trying to find Chappell since earlier this month. Chappell is dealing with aggravated assault with a lethal weapon and felony evading costs after regulation enforcement mentioned he injured Inv. Jonathan Kelly throughout a site visitors cease on Oct. 15.
On Sunday, regulation enforcement arrange a direct perimeter across the dwelling on Previous Nashville Freeway, and Davis mentioned that they had evacuated each one else from it.
Davis mentioned they consider there are weapons within the dwelling, and Chappell, who can be needed on housebreaking costs in Humphreys County, has barricaded himself inside it.
Davis mentioned they’re working to resolve this incident peacefully and needed to warn folks to keep away from the world.
