DEKALB COUNTY, Ala. — Two Alabama elected officers visited the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Workplace to point out their help of native legislation enforcement on Friday.
Senator Steve Livingston and Consultant Nathaniel Ledbetter introduced Sheriff Nick Welden, Nathan Nail, and Mike Stone with checks for ‘much-needed beacons that will probably be worn by first responders on their uniforms.
These beacons permit pilots to have the ability to inform a distinction between victims and first responders throughout search and rescue operations at evening.
Nathan Nail serves because the DeKalb County Affiliation of Fireplace Division President and Mike Stone serves because the DeKalb County Rescue Squad Affiliation President.
“It’s a fantastic feeling when our elected officers on the State stage acknowledge the arduous work and sacrifice of our First Responders right here in DeKalb County. We’re blessed to have the toughest working and most devoted responders,” Sheriff Welden mentioned in a press release.
The Sheriff thanked the state officers for his or her help on a Facebook post Saturday morning.
