A veteran Nollywood actor, Chwetalu Agu has been launched from the custody of the Nigerian Military 24 hours after his arrest.
The Nigerian Military arrested the film star on Thursday for supporting the proscribed separatist group, IPOB.
Military spokesperson Onyema Nwachukwu accused the actor of “inciting members of the general public and asking for assist for the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB),” in a launch issued on Tuesday.
In a viral video on Thursday, Mr Agu was seen wearing Biafran flag regalia, which prompted the Nigerian Military to arrest him at Higher Iweka Highway, Onitsha, Anambra State.
