Bridges to Independence, an area social-safety-net group, will host its fourth annual Dwelling Run for the Homeless 5K on Saturday, Oct. 9 from 9 to 11 a.m. at Bluemont Park.
All ages and all ranges of strolling/operating expertise are welcome to take part within the occasion, which marks Home Violence Consciousness Month and can elevate cash to help Northern Virginia households scuffling with homelessness.
Strollers are OK for the occasion, however it’s requested that canines be left at house.
Along with the in-person run/stroll, members can elect to participate “nearly” all through the month of October.
