Wilson had attended an Aug. 3 dinner assembly sponsored by the Randolph County Republican Ladies’s Membership at a Moberly restaurant when he got here to assistance from Senator Emery.
Senator Emery began his speech that night with a joke that his granddaughter had instructed him. In the midst of the joke, Emery stated “please give me a second” and at the moment collapsed.
