PADUCAH — Home abuse isn’t new. In the course of the pandemic, home violence incidents elevated dramatically.
We spoke to officers with the Merryman Home Home Disaster Middle, which helps these impacted by home violence within the Buy Space Improvement District.
They are saying throughout the pandemic in 2020, home violence homicides in Kentucky had been up by 75%.
We additionally talked to Billy Hale, the brother of a home violence sufferer.
Hale’s sister, Angela Hale, died after her then-boyfriend deliberately backed an RV over her on the Paducah Conference Middle car parking zone in 2019.
