District president, BKU (Kadian), Hardeep Singh Giaspura, Sukhi Rohle, Kesar Singh, Manpreet Ghulal, Manpreet Rohle, Mohan Singh, Babbu Ghaghas, Jinder Ghulal, Amandeep Ghulal, Jathedar Khatra, Piara Singh, Balbir Singh, Jagpal Punia, Raghveer Dhande, Sunny Khatra, Charan Rohle, Gurmukh Singh, Gindi Ghulala, Maninder Pleased, Gurpal Singh and others held candles of their palms to strongly condemn what they termed as ‘extremely detached, uncaring and apathetic’ perspective of the Central Authorities in the direction of the real calls for of the farmers.
“This march is a message for the farmers that to be able to retain what’s ours for hundreds of years, we have now to be sturdy, decided and steadfast and if want be, lay down our lives for the trigger.
