ALBANY – A Colonie man was charged with crimes associated to intercourse trafficking ladies and ladies on Thursday, in accordance with authorities concerned within the multi-state investigation on Friday.
A federal grand jury returned a superseding indictment charging Christopher Thomas, 38.
The indictment charged Thomas with conspiracy to commit intercourse trafficking of youngsters, intercourse trafficking of a kid, transportation of minors with intent to interact in legal sexual exercise, conspiracy to move a person to interact in prostitution, and coercion and enticement.
Thomas allegedly recruited ladies and ladies to interact in industrial intercourse they usually then gave him the proceeds, state and federal authorities mentioned.
Thomas is alleged to have used an internet site to promote the ladies and ladies for industrial intercourse within the Capital Area, Massachusetts, and elsewhere.
