CHICAGO — A 17-year-old boy was charged Saturday morning and accused in a carjacking that occurred within the South Loop and an armed theft that occurred within the River North neighborhood, Chicago police mentioned.
The teenage boy was charged with one felony depend of vehicular hijacking, one depend of armed theft and one depend of receiving and possessing a stolen car, police mentioned.
The boy, who isn’t being named as a result of his age, was recognized as the one who took a 54-year-old man’s car by drive Wednesday within the 200 block of West twenty second Place. He additionally was accused of taking a 39-year-old girl’s property Thursday within the 600 block of North LaSalle Drive, police mentioned.
The teenage boy was arrested Friday within the 8000 block of South Aberdeen Avenue after he was recognized as the one who was in possession of one other stolen car taken July 14 within the 7600 block of South Cicero Avenue, police mentioned.
The boy was scheduled to seem in juvenile bond courtroom Saturday.
