Saba Qamar, actor, and singer Bilal Saeed‘s arrest warrants have been cancelled by a district courtroom in Lahore. They had been issued on September 8 within the Wazir Khan mosque shoot case.
Their bail was authorized on Thursday. Saba and Bilal’s attorneys had filed purposes for the withdrawal of their bailable warrants.
They’ve been granted bail towards surety bonds value Rs30,000 every and the courtroom has directed them to seem on the subsequent listening to.
The warrants had been issued for October 6 after each Saba and Bilal failed to seem in courtroom.
In August 2020, a case was filed towards the celebrities by the Akbari Gate police on the grievance of lawyer Farhat Manzoor. Saba and Bilal are dealing with prices of violating the sanctity of Wazir Khan mosque in Lahore by dancing there whereas taking pictures the music video for Bilal’s tune Qabool.
The FIR was registered underneath Part 295 (deliberate and malicious acts meant to insult non secular emotions of any class by insulting its faith or non secular beliefs) of the Pakistan Penal Code.
Each Bilal and Saba had posted apologies on social media following the controversy. Bilal had assured that he was eradicating the complete sequence shot on the Wazir Khan Mosque.
In response to Saba, the clip was a “prologue to the music video that includes a Nikkah scene”.
