U.S. Customs and Border Safety officers seized dozens of containers of horse drugs and dietary supplements on the U.S.-Mexico border earlier this week.
CBP officers on the El Paso port of entry seized the contraband gadgets Thursday at roughly 12 p.m. when a U.S. citizen, 44, entered Texas from Mexico and declared nutritional vitamins.
Upon an inspection CBP officers discovered a big field containing a wide range of prescription animal dietary supplements and horse drugs — veterinary drugs thought of a category three narcotic steroid and prohibited from entry, in line with a release from U.S. Customs and Border Safety.
CBP officers seized the merchandise and issued the person a $500 civil penalty.
