Legislation enforcement companies throughout North Dakota are planning further patrols in September to crack down on distracted driving.
Officers held the same “U Drive. U Textual content. U Pay.” enforcement marketing campaign in April, and issued 186 citations for texting whereas driving and different distracted driving violations.
“Distracted driving consists of taking your eyes off the street or your thoughts off driving,” Morton County Sheriff Kyle Kirchmeier mentioned.
This marketing campaign is a part of the state’s Imaginative and prescient Zero technique to remove motorized vehicle crash fatalities and critical accidents on North Dakota roads.
