FRANKLIN, Ohio (WXIX) – A person has been arrested after an hour-long SWAT state of affairs in Franklin, police say.
The incident occurred on Maple Avenue in Warren County. Franklin Police Chief Brian Pacifico stated officers responded to a home violence report simply earlier than 9:30 a.m. Sunday.
Police say they have been trying to arrest Steven Langdon, 49, on home violence prices when he refused to come back out and barricaded himself within the dwelling.
The sufferer instructed officers Langdon had a handgun and enormous knife.
When negotiations weren’t profitable, police say, the SWAT group deployed fuel into the home a number of occasions.
Finally, in response to Franklin Police, Langdon left the home and was arrested with out additional incident.
Langdon was transported to the Warren County Jail. He’s held on no bond, awaiting his courtroom date on August 17.
