Linn Co. Sheriff’s deputy shot a number of occasions; manhunt underway close to Coggon


COGGON, Iowa (KCRG) – A Linn County Sheriff’s deputy has been shot a number of occasions whereas responding to a theft in progress name at a Coggon comfort retailer.

It occurred at round 10:30 p.m. Sunday when deputies responded to the Casey’s Common Retailer positioned at 5100 Freeway 13 in Coggon. Sources inform KCRG-TV9 that the suspect shot the deputy a number of occasions inside the shop.
