The incident was reported at 1:20 p.m. Friday on the intersection of state Freeway 23 and state Freeway 7.
Based on the State Patrol, a 2019 Ford Edge pushed by Robert Thomas Kempe, 74, of Montevideo, was going west on Freeway 7 and collided with a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee, pushed by Maria Vilchez Garcia, 44, of Cottonwood, that was going north on Freeway 23.
