The time period “alien” could quickly get replaced within the language of California legal guidelines, due to Assembly Bill 1096.
The invoice, launched by San Fernando Valley Assemblywoman Luz Rivas, handed the State Meeting Thursday in a unanimous bipartisan vote.
Luz calls the time period — used to explain non U-S residents — derogatory and dehumanizing.

It has been utilized in California legislation since 1937.
The invoice requires it to get replaced with extra applicable language similar to “international nationwide.”
