Nebraska Congressman Bacon heads to U.S.-Mexico border

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – Nebraska Rep. Don Bacon mentioned he was flying Thursday from Washington, D.C., to El Paso, Texas, to see for himself what’s taking place on the U.S. border with Mexico.

This week, the Biden administration introduced it might permit as much as 250 “significantly weak” immigrants into the U.S. each day. It’s an exception to the present rule: Those that match that description embody households with very younger youngsters — those that are unwell — or those that have been threatened or attacked whereas in Mexico.

In March, border detentions reached a 20-year excessive.
