SWAT crew assists in arrest of alleged home violence suspect


GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) – Mattew Rousso, 44, was arrested by Mesa County Sheriff Deputies on Might 7 and is dealing with a slew of costs associated to a home violence incident that occurred earlier that day.

The sheriff’s workplace says that deputies responded to a home violence report round 9:30 p.m. on Might 7, which occurred at a residence within the 600 block of Americana Dr. Deputies then obtained possible trigger for Rousso’s arrest, and tried to make contact with him on the residence.

Rousso didn’t reply to repeated loud hail bulletins to go away the residence based on the sheriff’s workplace, which prompted the response of the Mesa County Sheriff’s Workplace and Grand Junction Police Division SWAT Crew.

Finally, Rousso was apprehended and transported to the Mesa County Detention Facility.

He’s dealing with the next costs:

  • Felony Menacing F5
  • Second Diploma Assault with Severe Bodily Harm F3
  • Third Diploma Assault M1
  • Little one Abuse No Demise or Harm M2
  • Felony Mischief $300 or extra, lower than $750 M2
  • Obstructing Regulation Enforcement M2
  • Harassment M3
