ENOLA, Pa. — Saturday was the seventeenth annual version of Randi’s Race, in reminiscence of Randi Trimble. Trimble handed away in 2003 after being brutally murdered by her husband.
The occasion raises consciousness about home violence and the influence that it has on youngsters who witness it. All cash raised goes on to the packages of Randi’s Home of Angels, a company serving to present help to youngsters who’ve been victimized.
“We all know we now have raised over $30,000 and one staff got here in with greater than $11,000,” Randi’s mom, Nancy Chavez stated. “So that you see the help is there.”
The nonprofit was created in October 2011. A golf outing can be being hosted in September. For extra data on Randi’s Home of Angels, click on here.
