SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – The Division of Homeland Safety has begun the method of reuniting households who had been separated below the Trump administration’s “zero tolerance” coverage on unlawful immigration.
Earlier within the week — President Biden’s administration stated its reunification process pressure rejoined its first 4 households that had been separated by the coverage.
Below the “zero tolerance” coverage, hundreds of migrant mother and father had been separated from their youngsters.
Based on the Division of Homeland Safety, mother and father will return to the US on humanitarian parole whereas authorities contemplate different longer-term types of authorized standing.
