ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) — Olmsted County Sheriff Kevin Torgerson introduced Friday the on-duty passing of an Olmsted County detention deputy.
Torgerson stated 52-year-old detention deputy Mark Anderson was discovered unresponsive by a colleague Thursday round 9:30 p.m. in a locker room on the Olmsted County Grownup Detention Heart.
First responders administered assist and Mayo Ambulance transported Anderson to Mayo Clinic St. Marys the place he was pronounced deceased.
Torgerson stated the reason for demise is believed to have been brought on by a medical incident.
Anderson was an 11- 12 months veteran of the Sheriff’s Workplace. He had beforehand labored as a counselor for at-risk youth and younger adults.
