EL PASO, TX (WCBD) – Governor Henry McMaster is visiting South Carolina Nationwide Guard troopers stationed on the U.S.-Mexico border.
Throughout the governor’s two-day journey, he, and the state’s Adjutant Normal, MG Van McCarty, will meet with members of the 2-151st Aviation Regiment and 1052nd Transportation Firm at a navy set up and Customs and Border Safety sector headquarters close to the border.
It comes as GOP lawmakers from throughout the nation, together with U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham, name for cameras to have entry to federal services holding hundreds of unaccompanied kids touring alone throughout the Mexico border.
“There’s a humanitarian disaster on our southern border and inaction is placing our nationwide safety in danger,” stated Gov. McMaster on Friday evening.
