OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Oklahoma Metropolis cops fatally shot an inmate who took a correctional officer hostage at a county jail Saturday, authorities stated.
Officers had tried to deescalate the scenario on the Oklahoma County Detention Middle, however authorities fired their weapons after the suspect held one thing towards the neck of the hostage, Oklahoma County Sheriff Tommie Johnson III stated throughout a information convention.
